Humility

In the kingdom of God, we can see from scripture that humility is key to a Christian. (Proverbs 15:33) Humility is in very simple terms the complete opposite of pride. God hates pride (Proverbs 6:17) and it's easy to understand then why humility is so important.

- Courage through humbleness - Luke 5:12
- Knowledge and Wisdom by humbleness - Proverbs 11:2

- Loving kindness through humbleness - James 4:6
- Blessing through humbleness - 2 Chronicles 7:12-14
- Guidance by being humble - Psalm 25:8-9
- Repentance is motivated by humbleness - Deuteronomy 8:2-3
- Forgiveness comes to the humble - Jeremiah 29:11-13
- Reconciliation for the humble - Isaiah 57:15
- Hope for the humble - 1st Peter 5:6-7

Trust God to right the wrongs in your life, be humble and know that God is in charge and that He cares for you." The closer to the ground you are, the softer your fall is, the higher you are, the harder you fall."

Zephaniah 1:14-16 then verse 18 and finally 2:1-3 - It is humility that will help us when God's wrath comes. It is the only thing that will empower us to be like Christ and live the way we should.
